Jane Hill is the author of two books--Gail Godwin (Twayne) and Cobb County: At the Heart of Change (Longstreet), as well as the editor of four anthologies of contemporary literature. Her articles include essays on Ann Beattie, David Bottoms, James Dickey, Gail Godwin, John Irving, and Bobbie Ann Mason, as well as films, including The Fisher King and A Simple Plan. She has also published both fiction and poetry in literary journals and is recipient of the Frank O’Connor Prize in Fiction, among other honors. She retired in 2017 as Professor Emerita in English at Marshall University.
