Angelo Geter is an award-winning poet, teaching artist and Poet Laureate Emeritus of Rock Hill, SC. Geter is an Academy of American Poets Laureate Fellow, and a National Poetry Slam champion. He has authored the poetry collection More God Than Dead, and his work has appeared on Button Poetry, the Academy of American Poets “Poem a Day” series, and This Is the Honey: An Anthology of Contemporary Black Poets, among others.
