Jim Lundy is the current president of The Poetry Society of South Carolina and has served continuously on its board in various capacities since 2005. He also curated Monday Night Poetry & Music, a weekly poetry and music series in Charleston, for 12 years and is active in several other community groups. He is the author of The History of the Poetry Society of South Carolina: 1920-2021, and was invited to discuss the book on the SC Public Radio program Walter Edgar's Journal in 2022. He splits his time between his home in Charleston and his cabin in the wilds of Fairfield County.
