Marybeth Evans has enjoyed a varied career in newspaper publishing, public radio, event planning, and arts administration. In addition to her position on the SCAA Board of Governors, she serves on the Board of Directors of the Gerald Arpino Foundation, which is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the choreographic works of Gerald Arpino and Robert Joffrey, founders of the
​Joffrey Ballet.
